Experts will discuss the role of universities in the global ecosystem of innovation in the Russian Federation

Experts will discuss the role of universities in creating a global ecosystem of innovation in Russia as part of the III All-Russian Forum of Technological Entrepreneurship (Techpred-2024), which will be held from November 11 to 12 in Moscow, the organizing committee said. The Forum is an annual event of the federal project "Platform of University Technological Entrepreneurship", implemented by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by representatives of government, big business, the university community, investors and technology entrepreneurs. In two days, more than 30 sessions will be held with the participation of more than 100 speakers, master classes, business meetings, and presentations of the best startups created and supported under the fedproject, the report says. The expert discussions of the forum will touch upon such issues as attracting investments in technology startups, creating conditions for accelerated commercialization and scaling of projects, and the formation of an entrepreneurial culture in the university environment. The central event on November 11 will be the plenary discussion "Designing the future: the role of universities in a high-tech economy", in which it is planned to discuss how universities become centers of competence formation for innovation-oriented economic growth. On the same day, there will be a panel discussion on the development of regional ecosystems of the technical representative, a pitch of the best university startups in front of business angels, and an open microphone with universities. On the second day of the forum, a presentation of the top 50 startups - winners of the annual ranking of the top 1000 university technology startups – will take place: the best of the best participants of the Platform will present their projects and developments. On this day, there will also be a public discussion of the new professional standard for technological entrepreneurship, organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, a Hard Talk with investors, an axel battle with the participation of organizers of effective acceleration programs, and a mastermind with an analysis of non-standard cases of universities organizing trainings. The forum will also include a meeting of the All—Russian TecHpreDclub, a new networking platform for startups, experts and investors, the organizers noted. This year's forum was co-organized by the Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development of the City of Moscow.
